Become a Precinct Committee Person (PCP)

See PCP Vacancies by Voting Precinct below

A Precinct Committee Person (PCP) is the most important grassroots role in the Colorado Republican Party — the official Republican voice in your neighborhood and the primary link between local voters and the county party.

Who They Are

  • Elected by registered Republicans in your precinct at the precinct caucus in even-numbered years .
  • Each precinct can have two PCPs (often a husband-and-wife team or close neighbors).
  • Serve two-year terms.
  • We have vacancies! Vacancies are filled by appointment by the Garfield County Republican Executive Committee.

Why They Matter

PCPs are the backbone of the party at the grassroots level. They help elect qualified Republicans, promote Republican values, and ensure the party’s presence in their community.
